Patch 0.3.1a
Ahoy!
There were some minor bugs that I decided to fix post launch, and one major bug that instead of fixing, I ended up removing the feature. That feature is the ability to recruit surrendered ships to your fleet (booooo!), Unfortunately, I didn't realize that in refactoring the attack logic, I broke the allies' ability to attack. Even if I restore it to the way it was before, it wont function with the fleet upgrades, making it kind of useless anyways. This means the only way to fix it is to convert both the enemies and ally ships to the new attack logic, which is basically a major goal for me in the next update.
In other words, it's just going to require a lot of work to fix, and so I have pulled that feature for now and it will return with the next major update, alongside the rework of all enemies and allies that is planned to come anyways.
Bug Fix Summary:
- Removed the Pirate Lord upgrade from the game, as described above.
- Fixed the issue with cannons no longer making sounds.
- Updated the cannon balls to the new color palette, because they were difficult to see while still in the old palette.
